Whether you are a customer or not, these brands have created the perception that there is no-one else in the market like them.
Many companies have strong positioning statements that focus on words like “innovative”, “superior” or trustworthy. Don’t think the differentiation for your brand is just about words. What you do and how you do it differently matters. Then of course you need to consider if you are using the right language and pressing the right emotional triggers. Get all this right and you become the preferred choice, above your competitors.
So you can see why it is so critical to stand out from the crowd.
You need a strong, distinctive brand to ensure you stand out not only from local businesses, but also on a global scale. Let’s face it, the business marketplace is shrinking.
